In one Norwegian journey, you can stand beside deep fjords carved by glaciers, cross wide mountain plateaus, walk through colorful waterfront districts in cities like Bergen and Ålesund, and travel north to fishing villages in the Lofoten Islands where peaks rise straight from the sea.

Our private tours are designed to bring these different regions together into one clear, well-paced experience. Explore our Norway itineraries below to find the route that suits you best, or let us design something entirely bespoke.

Popular Destinations in Norway Our Guests Love

Summer day at Oslo's waterfront showing the modern architecture of Munch Museum, surrounded by other buildings with a serene sea in the foreground and a blue sky with fluffy clouds above.

Oslo

Norway’s capital combines city life with easy access to nature. Modern buildings sit alongside historic sites, with places like the Opera House and Vigeland Sculpture Park standing out. The waterfront area has been redeveloped in recent years, making it a good place to walk, eat, and take in the setting.

Historical colorful wooden buildings of Bryggen reflecting on the calm waters at the Hanseatic Wharf in Bergen, Norway, a popular Scandinavian tourism destination.

Bergen

Set between mountains and the sea, Bergen is often seen as the gateway to the fjords. The colorful wooden buildings of Bryggen line the harbor, while the surrounding hills can be reached by funicular for wide views over the city. It’s a smaller city, but one that feels closely connected to the landscape around it.

Geirangerfjord

This is one of Norway’s most well-known fjords, and it’s easy to see why. Steep cliffs rise straight out of the water, with waterfalls dropping down into the fjord below. Whether seen from the road above or from the water, it’s one of the most dramatic landscapes in the country.

Lofoten Islands

Flam

Flam sits at the end of a narrow fjord, with mountains rising on either side. It’s best known for the Flam Railway, a steep mountain train journey that passes waterfalls and valleys along the route. The setting itself is what makes it popular, with everything centered around the fjord.
